Despite a large population of Indian people in Tampa, there are not many Indian restaurants in the area. I don’t know if they’re all headed to Fast Food joints to eat or if it’s all home cooking, but I hadn’t arbitrarily driven by an Indian restaurant the entire time I’ve lived in Tampa. After living in Southfield (roughly a 20 minutes drive from Dearborn) this seemed very odd, where you can barely go a couple miles without passing an Indian joint. So yet again, the search for a particular type of restaurant was mustered.
